    Incidentally I noticed Roger Tilleman (the ref) was the judge of one of Stipe Drews' fights when he was champion.

    So he's didn't even get struck off for this!

    Edit: Just checked - he's judged loads mainly EBU-level. He even judges Thaxton - Romanov in London! Must've kept a low profile at that one!!! Doesn't ref so much nowadays...

    This is going to go down in history as the worst refereeing of recent history. Ottke's reputations gets blown apart by this. A 5-years past his best Robin Reid kicked his arse and Ottke got the referee to bail him out in this round.

    The officiating in Abraham's Vs Miranda was horrible and the sole reason Abraham won the match.

    It wasn't just this fight, Ottke's whole career was marred by officials shennanigans and outright cheating.

    1/ the IBF sold Charles Brewer down the river when they sanctioned a fight in Ottkes home town. Brewer clearly won the fight, Ottke 'won' a SD.

    2/ Glenn Johnson beat him soundly, around 116- 112/ 117- 111 would have been fair, Ottke 'won' a UD.

    3/ Byron Mitchell CONVINCINGLY beat him over 12, to again be robbed.

    These are the more notorious examples, there is literally a litany of other injustices involving this guy; he 'won' a fight agaisnt the Thomas Tate after being cut by a punch (which was ruled a butt) - of course Ottke was way ahead on all the cards.

    just a sidenote: ottke (recently divorced) filed a lawsuit against his former wife that she physically abused him:rofl
