One judge scored it to Chagaev by 7 rounds, another by 6.

The other one by a single round, which is what it looked like to me - a very split fight.

If I was a boxer I'd be terrified of fighting in Germany - the judges/refs will find a way of making their fighter win.

They were too wide but the result was right so I am not overly concerned this time around.

I had it 117-110 Chagaev, so I thought the judges did pretty well myself.

  4. Chagaev is incredibly smart for a HW, the man keeps impressing me every fight.

chagaev is a very limited fighter, but skelton was more so. judges got it right and i'm the biggest sceptic of judges in germany and their prejudice

Being a Brit I can say the result was pretty fair. The judge who was said to have it by one point actually had it by I think 5 points at 116 - 111, which is how I scored the fight. No complaints this time round.

Scoring aside I thought it was a good effort from Matt. He did better than I thought he could at top level and didn't disgrace himself at all. I wonder where he goes from here.

I don't think Chagaev did enough to win by 7 rounds.

I thought it was a close fight, even if Skelton didn't look dangerous.

i had it wider than 7. skeltons work was ugly has hell, barely landing and had little or no effect on chagaev. even though chageav didn't look good himself, he was the clear winner. Rawling's commentary was one of the most biased i have ever heard.

and there were 2 italian judges and 1 american.
