German ring size. Help!

    First off I would just like to say how much I like the white german rings. Its something different, and their arenas and the show they put on is great (apart from the cheesy entrances)

    But every time I watch I feel the ring is much bigger than say a U.S ring.

    I know there are varying ring sizes but the german ones seem huge?

    I think its the illusion of the colour.

    When you watch Macklin closing the ring off so well last night , I would bet the ring is no more than 20 x 20.

    Yeah I thought the ring may appear bigger due to the size, but I also think it may actually be bigger.

    Does anyone know for sure?

    Rings can be 20x20 to 24x24 inside the ropes. Usually selected to suit the house fighter.
