Just robbed Maidana out of the 140 WBA title from Kotelnik.

I wouldn't say robbery. It was a close fight that honestly could have went either way. I scored it for Madaina mainly because I felt his blows, even though the head shots were mostly deflected, were more effective than Kotelnik's "cleaner" blows.

    Here's my scorecard...

    1. m 10-9
    2. k 19-19 even
    3. m 29-28 madaina
    4. k 38-38 even
    5. k 48-47 kotelnik
    6. k 58-56 kotelnik
    7. m 67-66 kotelnik
    8. m 76-76 even
    9. m 86-85 madaina
    10. k 95-95 even
    11. m 105-104 madaina
    12. m 115-113 madaina

Great fight, regardless. I have no problem with a draw, or close points win for Kotelnik. So I think the judges were pretty much on point.

But man, Kotelnik is a tough nut. He showed some stones in there. Everytime I thought he was fading or on the verge of being stopped, he'd come right back.

i had it 8-4 for Maidana

not a robbery I guess but it sure did feel like it with the crowd very silent when they announced the winner.

Im sure though if this fight wasnt done in Germany, Maidana would of got the decision.

I like how you posted that I claimed it was not a robbery before I claimed that it was.

    Dyslexic much?

So every fight you score different than the judges is a robbery? Always playing the Germany card is boring...
I am somehow annoyed that every nearly even fight gets called a robbery....

Last obvious robbery in Germany was some months ago if I remember correctly... It was a fight for the european title.. Cannot remember the weight or the fighters.. Just that a spanish guy was robbed

If I remember right I had Campillo in front with 4 points... But I think that there were no bad decisions or platant robberies since then... All in all I do not see that robberies are more frequent in Germany than everywhere else..
