Could Gerrie kayo Tim, or would Tim either stop Gerrie in the mid-to-late rounds, or decision him?

I can't argue with that. Witherspoon was a bit better than Coetzee.

At his best Witherspoon was the better fighter, and somewhat more consistent.

Witherspoon at his best would win a unanimous decision, his chin was top-notch, and that stretch from 1984-1985, he was one of the top three heavyweights in the world.Solid fighter, and Gerrie, though top notch, would find that out.But even if Spoon showed up in less than good condition, he could score that come-from-behind stoppage.

'Spoon lands that big overhand right off the double jab somewhere around the 9th or 10th round and ends it.

Pretty much sums it up for me.

Coetzee had excellent physical talent but lacked a bit in the mental/cajones department.
