The problem with the guys like Mavrovic is that we simply don't have enough data to compare him to other fighters, because while he gave great Lennox Lewis much tougher fight than was expected (still clearly lost though), Lewis was the ONLY top 30 heavyweight he faced in 28 pro fights. I have to go with more proven fighter here in Coetzee. Mavrovic wasn't a puncher, so he wouldn't be able to stop Coetzee, and he was durable himself, so I'd say Coetzee takes it by close but clear decision.
Fair assessment. Mavrovic was crazy tough though, so I'd give him an outside chance of gassing Coetzee out and winning by shock turn-around late. I don't think Coetzee hits as hard as Lewis.
