Does Cooney have a resume that stacks up to Fulton's?

Langford, Flynn, Morris, Pelkey, Gunboat Smith, John Lester Johnson...

    I think not.

    Fulton KO6.

You don’t want a lot of money riding on this, but Fulton was much more proven at the top level and for much longer. Based on the limited information we have, we would have to favour Fulton.

Fulton was a big man too. Fought in a lot of fights and against some tough guys. He was a bit chiny though, so a huge Cooney left hook or uppercut might have done him in, but Iwouldn't bet money on anything.

Fulton could be taken by anybody with a big punch, but he also beat some big punchers, and often got off the deck to win.

This makes it an intersting fight.

Would probably be a good scrap.

Hate to be the one who says it, but Fulton couldn't fight. Boxing evolved a lot from 1920 to 1980. His style of fighting in 1920 would get him killed vs Cooney.

So what exactly is Fulton's style of fighting?

If you know, then I am genuinely interested!

And I'd pick Sam Langford to literally smash the ****ing face off any active middleweight or super-middleweight.
