    I’m very surprised Cooney is ahead in the polls. Quarry has wiped the floor with fighters similar to Cooney, most of them superior to him!

    Quarry mulched Lyle, Shavers, and Foster. Foreman avoided him by Foreman's own admission. Not decisive, but it ought to count for something. When Gerry's best gift is power, and Quarry eats that kind of thing up...

    I would install Quarry as a strong favorite.

    Far superior fighter, with far superior wins, and likely all wrong for Cooney.

    Here's the simple thing that can't be overlooked:
    Quarry was repeatedly battle tested and while he didn't win all of them he gave a pretty good account of himself. So you know he can handle himself when it gets rough.
    Cooney failed everytime he stepped up. Against Holmes he did ok for a little bit but folded.
