Yeah, I'd back an early TKO for the big man Cooney - he liked an early KO, like the Bowe V Dokes fight.
I like Comes but I think Cooney would be too big and hit too hard and would stop Dokes in an action filled bout.
Michael Dokes...amazing skills and hand speed,if Cooney can't use enough size and power on him early I'd say rough decision by Dokes.
I selected Dokes by tko/ko but I have absolutely no confidence in that choice. Dokes should win...........................but he should've been able to beat Coetzee as well and....................yeah. I do think Cooney was a bit more fragile than Coetzee though. I think Dokes' hands get there first and his feet get out of the way first and that's the story of the fight Go Akron!!!!!
Michael is the tougher fighter, and has the better skills. I am not 100% sure he could take Gerry's hook, but he should take an UD.
Why did Dokes stand like an 80 year old man? He had a really weird ring posture. Quick hands and decent heart. But he was kinda stiff legged, butt-out... not the greatest balance or mobility posture. I've said my peace.
