    Grant's upright stance and less mobile footwork would have made him an easy target for Cooneys power shots.
    I think this is one younger fighter that Cooney is in with a great chance of beating.

    Gerry had the power and the accuracy with the left hook to pull off the job. But Grant had plenty of power that he could hurt him back with and also showed grit to win some fights. I’m fine with anyone who favors Cooney but it’s not a fight I’d bet money on.

    I don’t remember Grant ever getting rattled by a left hook. I do remember Cooney getting his lights put out by an uppercut and getting drilled with right hands.
