Not a bad fight. Primo by knockout late for me, though I could see the argument for a Ku-Nee knockout

If the best argument that you can make for him is that he gave somebody a decent fight, in a losing effort, then that is a very underwhelming case.

Had his management kept him active and given him a few more fights before Holmes, that'd have went a long way towards making me more comfortable in my prediction. There's just not much of GC at his best to go on.

Carnera more proven at world level so you have to go with him probably late ko

I have both getting knocked down A couple of times and any time Carnera started to pick up some momentum he would hold or foul. I think that would keep Morrison pissed and motivated. I think at some point the pace would wind down and Morrison. Would settle for a lopsided decision in 12. Maybe 115-110 area to 115-112.

Cooney gets alotta ink on boxing 24, he's not an alltime great, 28-3 no significant wins of the top ten of his time NONE!
AND NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A TOP 5 FIGHTER (none)
Anyone swinging back beat him, HOLMES, SPINKS AND FOREMAN.

However thats not saying Gentleman Gerry would not have a chance, you watch Carnera's feet, very little movement and he was not used to fighting men of Cooney's size and left hand sock, sure Baer etc. And Carnera had a chin , so good matchup

Something tells me Carnera by 8 Round TKO.
