Marciano for the win round 8. Some people here are obsessed with size. Rocky was smaller then most of his opponents. It’s also funny that no one EVER questions Tyson’s and Frazier’s size (they were all the same height). He used his height to his advantage.

It drips potential outcome. Marciano got caught early by lesser punchers. At his best, Cooney came out of the gates in a hurry. Cooney punched harder than anyone Marciano ever faced. It is not an unimaginable result.

 

They were all the same height not weight

 

No they were not.

 

Talking about a quarter of an inch difference between Tyson and Marciano and Frazier’s height is also up for debate but most say he was shorter then his listed height. Either way short but affective fighters. You can throw Tua and Oscar Bonavena into the mix as far as strong short fighters are conserned .

 

Possibly best just to lump them all together as "short heavies"?
