Gerry Cooney vs Sam Peter

Sam Peter and Gerry Cooney were two guys who people had a lot of expectations for, and neither panned out really.

If Cooney could win a belt by fighting Oleg Maskaev, I think he'd have been a champion, too ... about 90 seconds after the opening bell.

The body work of Cooney was always impressive. I think that would the deciding factor against Peter.

 

It's hard to tell. It's actually difficult to pick, because when you expected something out of either, they'd blow it.
