Dont lampoon yourself. Gregg was stopped every time he stepped up.

Beat Cobb and 15-0 Hernandez. There’s not much separating him and Briggs outside of activity against D rated fighters.
Cooney has first round KO of Ken Norton and Ron Lyle. Whatever you think of where they were in their career they were two name guys and the Norton fight was a big fight at MSG. He also has a 4th round Tko over the Durable Jimmy Young who would win ring comeback of the year fighter the following year.
He then went 13 rounds in a great fight with a prime Holmes.
Briggs has a dubious win over a 46 year old Foreman. A fight most people, myself included felt he lost wide, he has a dubious win over an Ancient Ray Mercer. That looks like a dive. And a good last second win over Liakovich.
Briggs was never at any point in his career as good as peak Cooney was in the Norton and Holmes fight.

Briggs would outlast Cooney in a good fire-fight.

I don’t think enough people heard of Gregg but I’m more than happy with the results of this thread so far, looks like logic in the polls

Don’t be hurt because Briggs is losing the poll. It’s all good
