Gerry Cooney Vs Tommy Morrison who wins?

Morrison beat Foreman while Cooney was easily destroyed by George in 2 rounds despite a few hard punches that impressed George. I say its good exciting fight while it lasts but Morrison more athletic wins in the end by stoppage. Would be bombs away while it lasts.

This fight wont last long, and unless Morrison goes all out immediately Cooney wins.

Cooney has the reach and height to get to Morrison before he gets close enough, meaning he likely hits first. Tommy is the better athlete, better boxer and faster, but his stamina lets him down late. If Cooney uses his height it will be tough on Morrison.

Morrison has to win within 4 rounds, with combinations, counters and speed. If he starts fast he takes Cooney out.

This would be a great match. Cooney wins 6 out of 10.

 

Both men could knock each other out, but Morrison he's the edge on speed so I'll go with him. Cooney is metal weak, Morrison is more of a fighter. Morrison via 3round too but I would not bet a wooden nickel on it. I would however pay a lot to see it.
