Loses to Schmeling, Patterson and Johansson. A Douglas fight could go either way depending on what form Douglas shows up in. I'm undecided on a Sharkey fight and I think he beats the rest.
I’ve never been 100% sold on the Godzilla that is “ Tokyo” Douglas. I think that was a combination of one guy have the worst performance of his career while another was having his best. But I’m not convinced it was a case where we saw a Superman for one night only. Douglas’s chin, mental fortitude and average at best conditioning will always be in question for me. Against an opponent like Gerry Cooney it would be one of the few times I’m his career where he wouldn’t have the elements of height and reach. In some of the others like Tucker and white who DID have the reach he lost. Buster also has a weakness for left hooks as seen against Tucker and Jesse Ferguson. Gerry’s height, reach, left hook and power would be huge factors.
