quote me when i said it was a robery. you posted **** that was absolutely immaterial to the discussion. you just had to hate on pac and this is not the thread to do it it.

so you think morel clearly won? post you round by round scores. i had it 115-113 for gerry but it could have easily been for morel.

    back your **** up newb

I still have not seen the fight, but I have a feeling it was a close fight. Im tired of people calling a robbery when a fight is to close to call. Robbery is a fight like Martinez/Cintron or Guzman/Funeka. Im just a little confuse and though I hate punchstats it shows Morel was the more active fighter, which he also outlanded Gerry with jabs, but also power punches. I haven't had the chance the watch the fight yet, maybe after watching it I could bash this punchstats even more or maybe not.

morel landed more shots. but most of them came in the first 5 rounds. he won most of those rounds clearly but a won round will still be scored 10-9 right? gerry landed more from rounds 6-12. were the shots he landed more than the shots morel landed in the first 5 rounds? maybe not. but then you'd still have to score most of those rounds 10-9 for gerry right?

if you watch the fight, you'll clearly see that gerry invested much more than morel. morel was holding and running while gerry just moved forward to try to make it a fight even if he was bleeding badly.

again, i understand why one might score the fight 115-113 for both fighters. but the 116-112 card was ridiculous.

Once again im not a punchstat fan but it is showing Morel threw a total of 669 punches, 381 being power shots. Gerry threw 562, 362 being power punches. Morels % in power shots landing was at 36% compare to Gerry 30% even when he was less active. Going into the second half of the fight the numbers actually look real similar. Even in round 8 and 10 Morel landed more of the power shots. The last rounds are pretty similar as well. Once again these are just stats, but I could see this being a close fight, not a robbery like some are making it to be.
