Looks like Adames is finally fading slightly but Derevyachenko looks much slower than he used to, those wars definitely took something out of him!

A lot of holding from Adames now, who landed the cleaner work, but Sergiy managed to outwork him by a hair.

One thing thats weird about Derevyachenko is that his punch resistance seems to get better the longer the fight goes, Adames has landed some sharp counters this round but they don't have the same effect anymore

Deb probably lost that 7th. Has to work on the inside when Adames hold him, uppercut, chop the body.

the problem is that adames is scoring the clearer punches. That can influence a lot judges' scorecards. That's not good for derevianchenko.

I appreciate that this ref gives both guys time to work, but when it's clear one of them is holding consistently you think, maybe, a warning is in order?

Oh, who am I kidding referees don't deduct points.

Sergiy brought the pressure throughout. Easily outworked him, investing in the body now. Although Adames finished well.
