Of course he was, but so was Tank. Here's the catch though, in almost every round Cruz clearly landed the eye catching impactful shots, and did more than enough to shade them. Tank had a few moments here and there, but not close to enough to dominate the round or erase the work Cruz did. There was no demonstrative round for Tank with the exception of I think the 7th or 8th.

We can argue about if he's not as good as he is at 130. But man, saying that tank is "trash".... that's saying too much. Some people should look for "trash" in the dictionary.

Yeah, it's infuriating - not that people would have differences of opinion, but the certainty that they are absolutely right to call a CLOSE fight that could reasonably have been scored either way a "robbery." It happens practically EVERY week on these threads.

U tripping bro. Cruz won 4 rounds. 8-4 Tank, you can argue 7-5 Tank at best.

nothing? He showed boxing and ring iq vs teo. He showed speed by hitting teo first and more often. He showed power by dropping teo, he also kept teo honest. And when we talk about champions... he literally has the 3 belts to davis' none in the division...

Kambosas is getting wildly overrated on here. I like him, too, but he still has a lot to prove against the best in the world.

Anyway, this was not Tank's best performance but you are going to have some of those. He's obviously more comfortable as the stalker than the person being stalked. He has some boxing ability, but that's not ever going to be his game.

Even Cruz said he knew it was hurt in the fifth round, Tank said he hurt it in the sixth. I heard his corner mention it in the eighth and again in the eleventh. You the only one who said they saw it so I guess everybody else including the fighters are crazy.

It was a close fight, had Cruz fought the 12th like he did in the 11th i would have had it a draw. But when it mattered he didnt step up the pace. I give Cruz alot of credit, he gave a tough fight like i expected and showed he belongs in the division with the best fighters, but he gave it away in the 12th but in no way shape or form in my opinion did he win this fight.

He won the 12th fairly easily. What the **** did Davis do to secure it?

    Also, I had Haney-Diaz 114-114 or 115-113 Haney.
