No privilege was needed. Tank win more rounds and displayed more skill and class. Cruz fought well but even injured Tank prevailed. You are the type that would slag Tank off even if he had got the win by knockout tonight. Like I said you have your bias so own it. Those of you who dislike Tank is because you dislike his promoter. Tonight was a great entertaining fight. Let’s appreciate it for what it was. If that does not mean anything to you then that’s on you.

No. I said it was 115-113 either way. Cruz did heavy body work.

The injury is an excuse because not even with his best blows did he hurt Pitbull so I don't care ... his punch is overrated at all ... if he is released with the boys he will lose his undefeated

Barrios' ONLY claim to fame prior to fighting Twink was receiving a hometown gift from his three home judges against a seven fight novice

    Dan Rafael

''Even after scoring knockdowns in the fourth and 12th rounds at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Barrios appeared awfully lucky to win by scores of 116-111, 115-111 and 114-112 in a fight in which the crowd booed the decision loudly and most media at ringside had Akhmedov winning.''

7 fight novice did this to Barrios

And Gamboa was 38 years old, had been shot to bits for years, was always chinny, and was literally hobbling round the ring like a peg-leg cripple for 10 rounds of the fight

Twink is really talented but stop with this smoke and mirrors BS. He's under the care of Haymon Protection Services. He's better than the food they're serving him and his talent is such he should be dining in higher quality restaurants

Your dismissal of Tank knocking out Barrios discredits your analysis. The correct analysis is both Teo and Tank scored great stoppages over champions Commey and Barrios respectively which were excellent full stop. All the anti Tank/Mayweather bias is BS which should stop because we are seeing exciting talents.

I dont recall loma ever running from salido, in fact he almost knocked salido out in the 12th and that guy was saved by the ref. Lopez got his ass kicked by loma, albeit deserving of the win, and lopez refused to give loma a rematch.

Loma got dropped then knocked the guy out. Pedraza won some good rounds against loma, but he was put in his place with a 2 knockdown round 11, and thats not mentioning all the other rounds loma won. 4 straight no mas? Luke campbell fought a perfect fight but looked like a regular fighter vs lomachenko. Haney or davis has never fought in the level that loma has ever reached, and they probably never will.

He slowed Cruz down and hurt him. It’s to Cruz credit he bit down on his gum shield and kept coming as it is to Tank’s credit he found a way to win despite injury. Also even Cruz himself recognised Tank injured his hand and said so post fight.

Yeah... the right score. Not sure if you're aware of it, but there's not some general consensus on who won this match.

When did he hurt him? I don’t have fan boys eyes and didn’t see any rnd where Tank hurt Cruz.

No it doesn't at all

    You don't even offer analysis

All you offer is public displays of non-hetero affection upon your idols, which FTR is illegal in certain less enlightened parts of the word, and shamelessly regurgitating all the smoke and mirrors Floyd/PBC spin which is by its very design designed to pull the wool over the casuals eyes and doe-eyed fanboys like you

Twink is really good but he has been shamelessly ducking Loma and the best out there for years and no amount of spin is going to change that

Not sure about your reference to non hetero but I will put that aside. Everyone knows it’s difficult to put matches between Top Rank and Mayweather Promotions together. We may get Loma and Tank. Glad Teo did not stop Loma so Tank can perform the final rites.

Also for your analysis. It does not matter if a guy is taller, shorter, how much they rehydrate etc. All that matters is they make the weight at the weigh in then we have a fight. Tonight was an all action fight and Cruz rose to the occasion which challengers should for world title fights.

You won’t because you don’t want to see when Tank was loading up on him.

I think some are too harsh on Tank, he showed balanced and varied skill set tonight. Maybe the dislike for him, for whatever reason is preventing people from acknowledging his skills and considering the following:

-He was training originally for an unpredictable boxer/puncher then he had to face a shelled up short, non-stop pressure fighter, tough task.
-His last opponent was much taller and Tank had to punch up & plan how he was going to get inside, but this time it's the polar opposite of a very short fighter with a tight defense, the adjustment necessary to go from one to the other is difficult but he did great.
-Cruz looks like a tough fighter for anyone to deal with because of a great chin, tight defense, and quick feet, this might be his best weight.

I thought that this was a great performance by Tank and a great performance by Cruz, but Tank edged it by showing more dimensions (back foot game, angles, etc). Cruz was also landing low nut and hip shots trying to slow his mobility, and the ref allowed it for the most part. Cruz didn't win the 12th, he was missing while pot shotted by a one armed Davis.

If we are realistic then, how many rounds does Cruz get off Loma, as he can do some of the same things Salido troubled Loma with, but is faster and younger. I underestimated Cruz and rightly so at the time because he was moving up and hadn't had many big names on his resume but he proved himself tonight.
