like I said he know he lost - the crowd booed him during his interview & cheered Roach during his.
Tank felt blessed to escape with a draw.

None that currently come to mind, although what Conah Walker pulled off against Harry Scarff a few weeks ago came close. Leigh Wood pulled off a humdinger against Conlan as well.

Actually, come to think of it.... Tank Davis and Jermell Charlo fits that description, if it weren't for their power to bail them out, they've have lost several fights each.

100%, I've never heard anyone mention Tank Davis outside of this forum, and I'm known as the boxing guy in my family and circle of friends, so the moment they get wind of someone they eagerly bring them up to me to make conversation. They've mentioned Pacquiao, Floyd, Mike Tyson, Tyson Fury, Ryan Garcia, Canelo, but never Tank. Hell... Jake Paul's level of fame puts Tank's the absolute ****ing shame.

You were spot on, don't let the groupthink get to you, it was a clear as day robbery, which should have been a wide win for Martin. I thankfully avoided looking at everyone's scores and comments ahead of time, Martin controlled the pace and outlanded Puello with the far more eye catching and telling shots in almost every round, 7 to be precise, and they were even in one. While Compubox isn't always reliable, and they probably weren't here either, because if anything Martin probably outlanded him by far wider margins. This was a remarkably easy fight to score, due to Puellos woeful inaccuracy. Also note the power punches, Martin outlanded him in all 12 rounds.

Just watched the main event. What a farce. Scored it 7-5 Roach and that felt generous to Davis. Steve Willis is normally an excellent ref so I can only explain that KD no call by corruption.

It’s a disgrace. Since when can you take a knee and not receive a count?

Roach won the fight. End of.

The ref was protecting Tank. In round 5, Davis shoulder charges Roach in the face, and Lamont hits him with a short right. Tank complains, and Roach gets a talking to. All night long, Roach beat them both. Tank landed a lot of lead hands on Roach's hip and thigh in the first 1/2 of the fight. There was no low blow warning.

Tank was hitting low, pushing down on his opponent all fight with no repercussions. Then to top it off he takes a knee, goes to his corner to recover and gets no count! Terrible from the ref.

How long before the narrative slowly changes to it not being that bad of a robbery?

    It was, don't forget.

Prolly too good to be true, but would be the right call. The WBA president has stated his intentions to order a rematch as well, so things are looking up for Roach at least. Either he gets a second payday and a chance at righting the wrong, or Tank says no and just confirms his thoughts on how the fight went :sisi1
