I like Davies. He's pretty good. But he'd get schooled

Davies looks like he could be worked out pretty fast by Loma. He's. Talented fighter and exciting but as off yet he's just sat in the pocket and overwhelmed his opponent with speed and power.

Gervonta must fight Loma within the next 6 months to prove himself.

Mayweather and Arum wouldn't be working together regardless of anything Davis says.

There's a weird dynamic with some Lomachenko fans in which any time he simply mentions any fight he wants that fails to come off, everyone immediately accuses that opponent of ducking. Guys simply "wanting" fights is generally insufficient for them to get made, particularly when there are clear and longstanding promotional disputes.

This is a case where the cover up is worse than the crime. I wish they'd just leave it that they're not ready yet, but they're looking forward to making it a little down the road. Every time Floyd or Tank spits out these passive aggressive excuses to dance around that, it just makes Tank come off 10x worse, which is a shame since he is a promising young champ. Saying you don't ever need Loma, but are prepared to unify vs anyone else? WTF? I don't dislike the dude, but I can't actively root for a fighter who admits going in to it that he's going to hold any belt he captures hostage.

Honestly, I'd rather Tank get a couple bigger wins before the Loma fight happens anyways because I don't want anyone saying he was too green.

Dont blame him I would not fight him either, listen this guy will use the mayweather template and fight the top guys when they are no longer in their prime we all know this!

Yes ofcourse he is ducking Lomo. He cant come out and just say it but they will be asked about the fight so Floyd and Davis spout the same stuff Floyds always spouted when the time isnt right and the same stuff Oscar and other promoters have learned to spout from watching Floyd doing his deals over the years.

I dont mind them ducking this fight because the outcome is obvious to them as it is for all of us, i just hope they dont talk too much krap when Lomo is mentioned cuz there is nothing worse than talking smack about somebody you arnt willing to fight.

Dumb question. I would avoid him too lol. If he can stay out of trouble he'll end up making more money than Loma in the end. Just watch.

And in reality isn't that more important than what we think?

Yes, he is obviously ducking Loma by his own admission. BUT I would have remained a fan of Gervonta if he had just vacated his belt and let the real men fight. He doesn't need the belt, he has notoriety anyway.

He's downplaying the significance of the fight. Which, let's be honest, this fight is better next year. It's not like Loma is getting old. Gervonta is only 22 and is still in development. This fight is better with age.
