Well Wilder is a different case. I think Loma vs Davis should occur early 2018. It'd be a waste right now, Davis needs to keep building his profile and developing. Loma isn't going anywhere.

IMO, one should do that prior to claiming to be a champion. When you have a title, you are claiming to be ready for the best.

I agree but he does have a title and we can't change that. I'd rather see a good fight and I don't think it's a good fight right now. I think Loma wins easy. Not that it'll change in 2018 but at least we might get to see Davis vs tougher opposition and gain more experience. But I totally see your point.

 

Once people begin to respond negatively online, he can claim he's being "hated on" thereby achieving aggrieved-party status. After a few exchanges people will forget why he started drawing fire and he'll increase his following much more as a defiant victim than if he just went around kicking the **** out of opponents. Same with me. Actually this is how it started w/ Broner as well. Liked the guy, thought he was funny at first. But he instead became annoying and a punk.
