This thread is really descending into pure madness, the three fighters people have been complaining about are Davis, Lomachenko, and Usyk. And these three fighters are three of the best people in the world of boxing at the moment.

Loma fought for a world title in his second bout, has already moved up in weight ... he has not fought any scrubs!

Usyk fought for a world title away from home in only his tenth bout, and then defended against a top contender in a tricky voluntary defence while the other top names are tied up (Gassiev/Lebedev, Huck/Briedis, Bellew/Haye etc.). Who is he supposed to fight?

Davis just got hold of a title in exciting fashion and has not lined up any weak voluntary defenses, he hasn't done anything wrong at all yet!

He would have knocked out Marriaga also.

 

He adopted Mayweather's mindset quickly.

 

Walters couldn't knock out Marriaga. If you claim that Davis is a better fighter than Walters then you are reaching. There is nothing that would suggest that.

 

Better fighter and certainly not a sellout artist. He definitely would have knocked out Marriaga and in two years he is gonna knock out Loma, if Loma is still around.

He will never be able to compete with loma. There are levels to this sport. And as exciting a fighter Davis may be he just ain't good enough. But Davis will avoid Loma. As he said he wants to make his million before he fights Loma because he knows he gets beat

 

Of course just like Amir Imam was going to lit up 140, I know.

 

What I'm saying is that Marriaga was not ready for Loma or Davis.

 

You wish that he won't be able to handle Loma but he has the tools to beat Loma and the power to knock him out. Not right now because contrary to popular belief, Loma is a seasoned pro and his mental game and ring IQ is better than Davis at this moment. Davis needs more seasoning and Floyd knows that so give him a few more fights under the tutorage of Mayweather and he will be ready to not only win but knock Loma out.
