It's set for 136lb catch weight not 140lb.

Tank dared to be great by going up to 140. The weight didn't suit him so he went back to his proper weight class. The end.

Was that his reason for going back down, where did he mention that?

I don't know, Davis might come in overweight even at 136.

And he won a belt. If that was never his weight class, he should NOT have had a title shot. It's cherry picking title hopping....

Come on man. The fight game has chewed up and spit out so many fighters. Now it's on the fighters to sacrifice money and leverage for pride? Boxing created this mess you cant expect these dudes to bail them out now

im gonna be honest. except for 1 or 2 people supporting tank, most are doing it cause theyre black, and tanks black. but the same can be said about some white fighters and many of the posters here, which there are a lot more of. were the roles reversed, so would the arguments. not making it a racial thing, just an observation explaining how i see the controversy with the rehydration clause. i try and stay consistent with my outrage, regardless of fighter. i believe what i wrote on the subject and you wont see that change when applied to other fighters. i dont believe its safe to put that on a fighter. if you fear he may gain too much weight in 24 hrs, then dont fight him.

My support of Tank came from when he was coming Up in the ranks, I'm a loyal fan to the fighters I like, I've never really been too fond of Garcia, the same way I wasn't too fond of De La Hoya either. It took De La Hoya to lose for me to finally appreciate him.

Garcia is a good fighter, he's got skills but he stands too upright, I feel that Tank will catch him coming in with that big left hand. When I think about this fight, Pac-Hatton comes to mind for some reason.

How can you possibly prove most people supporting tank are doing so because they're black? That's an absolutely asinine statement

Ain't nothing wrong with being honest but you failed to mention Mexican. Mexicans tend to support their fighters no matter what. Now, take the Brits, they support their fighters no matter what ethnicity they are. As long as they are from the UK. Black American support their own for the most part but they will support others as well but their skills have to dictate that. White Americans support any fighter that's not black.
