Is the fight off if Ryan rehydrates or just a fee he has to pay out of his purse to Tank?

Ryan wanted a 136 Catchweight, Tank Counters with a 10 pound rehydration clause, its all bull****, just glad they're finally going to fight in the ring instead of fighting on social media.

Tank did the right thing, Garcia had plenty of chances for the fight at 135 and didn't go for it. He waited until he outgrew the weight and thought he had an advantage in size and weight to call for the fight. He should be fighting at 140 or 147. Instead he reaching down to 135 like weight bullies do. Hell naw, I wouldn't let him blow up on me on fight night either. Fighting ain't no game, people get hurt for real. They need to keep a level playing field. Haters on here whining like police sirens and looking for all the advantages they can get. Let the skills speak for themselves.

Garcia does come in about 148 at 140 and Twink will probably only weigh a couple of pounds less than that at worst. But all this trying to gain every advantage and weaken Garcia just makes Twink look even worse. Where I come from we earn our stripes by picking a fight with the biggest, baddest OG in their hood or we go 1-10.

Pretty Boy Garcia needs to go full Instagram on Twink's ugly little oompa loomp ass and show him how a real gangsta rolls because these deck-stacking divas have ruined the reputation of the sport.

I don't understand all the angst over this. Fighters negotiate catchweights all the time - how is this any different? It's just tracking weight like they did in the old days.

You didn't need hydration clauses back when because they had same-day weigh-ins.

A rehydration clause is meant for fighters like Zurdo Ramirez who rehydrate 30 + lbs before a fight not Fighters like Garcia.
Davis is scared of Garcia's power plain and simple.

Oh for the day of fight weigh in! It would in my opinion immediately alter the divisions some fighters currently occupy. It boggles the mind when guys fight for a lightweight title and both men are over the welterweight limit.

I hear what youre saying but It didn't matter if tank fought Ryan at 135 136 140 or 147 the haters wont give him an ounce of credit for beating him anyway and will be full of excuses, thats how they operate.:deal: So I say the hell with them let them keep hating and stay bitter.

Prize fighting can be cynical at times shocker.

If you're overly sensitive about the legal and contractual details of a deal between two parties who don't know you exist, that's on you.

Well, the point is that we have a group who made a stink of fights being fought “on an even playing field”, and then looking for any advantage to stack the deck in their favor. Then you have the fans of said group cheering all rah rah for fights being on an even playing field, and then when their group chooses to gain advantages through contract negotiations, it goes from being on an even playing field to “he’s the a side, a side calls the shots.”
