Not a straw man at all, just the truth. I picked Tank as the favorite before this info came out. Talking about it isn’t crying about like you want to believe, it’s just talking about it like we do here on this site where fans gather for boxing. Ryan is supposedly levels below Tank according to many Tank fans but Tank handicapped him. It’s ok to acknowledge that. He’s the A side and calls the shots, cool. He’s not the first one or the last. But don’t pretend you’re for making fights as fair as possible to make the playing field even when you agree that handicapped fights are ok. You can’t do both. Ryan agreed, good for him, it shows he wanted this fight more than Tank did and believes in himself more than Tank does. Now with this said, it doesn’t mean that Garcia won’t do it in the future himself, but I will call out the same bs regardless because I don’t hang from any fighters nutsack like so many fans do today.

 

Why do you keep saying Tank handicapped him as if Tank is the one negotiating and putting stipulations. Of course his team is going to put in stipulations that may give him an advantage. Ryan accepted and that’s that. Stop crying and acting like Tank is the one making these demands.

 

Also isn’t this the same thing that IBF requires for championship fights?

 

Tank signed the dotted like Ryan did. Decisions are ultimately up to the fighters. What they signed off on always goes back to them. Nobody is crying but you because you have to defend a stance that goes against what you say is important in boxing, fighting on an even playing field. Your user name will always be associated with that. Just own it. If you like your favorite fighters to have an advantage, own it.

What a surprising post from you. You compliment how the mighty and righteous Floyd didnt talk sh1t about DLHs demands until AFTER the fight while simultaneously ignoring that Floyd skipped the 144 CW w JMM and made Maidana wear his gloves.

People dont realize that when he wants to Tank can box with the best of them and can be very slick. Of course he doesnt need to do that because of his power.
Tank is light years a better boxer then Ryan and watch what happens when Ryan sticks that chin up in the air.
Ryans only chance is if he uses his speed and catches Tank if he tries to sit back and box Tank he is going to get walked into something.
