He catches a lot of shade because of his bromance with Broner, even though Broner, evidently, was the one who got him out of Baltimore, where he was constantly getting into trouble and where getting murked is always a possibility.

Unless he's out of shape, Tank'd beat the **** out of anybody at 130 or 135 except Lomachenko and possibly Linares, and I seriously doubt he's afraid of anyone (he called out Loma on IG shortly after the Pedraza fight but immediately deleted it lol... I should've taken a screenshot).

If he doesn't do the Farmer fight next, however, he deserves all the criticism he's going to get.

He doesnt have a single say in who he fights though.

And I dont think Davis personality is wise is like Broner or Mayweather. They seem fake and ridiculous.

Baltimore is insane with the violent crime. Especially West Baltimore. Crime in America has actually gone way down in recent decades. But Baltimore is probably one of the last old school 90s type hoods left in America. As far as just basically being a lawless inner city war zone. Can't really think of any other place like it in America with the exception of maybe Detroit. And even Detroit is nowhere near as bad as Baltimore.

South and West Chicago (aka Chiraq) is really bad too.

I live & work in West Baltimore. While most of the violence involves older dudes and is connected to the drug trade, a lot of young people get shot over dumb **** like social media beef. It's a good thing Gervonta's family got him into boxing, as it's a relatively productive way to channel the violent energy of the streets... Lots of kids I know are training & trying to be like Tank.

Oh ok. I'm from southwest Baltimore. Morrell Park area. Live in the suburbs now. Its pretty bad down in Baltimore city. I lived on the city county line just inside the city. And even in Morrell Park it could get rough. Going closer into the inner city I remember just walking down the street hearing gunshots regularly and nobody even flinching on the street.

South Baltimore is pretty messed up too... A lot of drugs.

I guess that's why so few fighters actually make it out of the city, even with all the quality gyms. I remember reading about this guy last year, **** is depressing: https://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/crime/bs-md-ci-shootings-20170315-story.html

Clearly you've spent no time in Detroit.

Contrary to popular belief, Mares not Davis is the one who asked for this fight. Him and Mikey got the same trainer so I can understand his death wish. Garcia got everybody in camp hallucinating and thinking they can kill a bear with a toothpick.
