I like Haney in this fight, but it's 60/40. Tank has only been outboxed when he's looking winded. He definitely CAN box, and we've seen Devin stumped a time or two against a high level boxer. Very interesting clash of styles. Can't wait to see it in 2030.
I'm not sure to be honest. I feel like my answer is Haney but I could do with seeing both of them in with better guys to be honest
Redkach isn't very high on my list, It's sparring. Redkach destroyed "the ghost" of Devon Alexander None of this really tells the level that Tank is at. I'm personally one of the only guys that pull for him on here, but I acknowledge his limits.
Tank, while maybe not a “PPV fighter” is being underrated IMO. I understand not liking him, but he’s a problem. I think he eventually stops Haney in a fight he’s losing on the cards.
If Haney goes in with a game plan of out boxing him he wins. If decides to trade then Tank catches him and sparks him out.
Haney will be tough for anyone to beat on the judges’ scorecards. But I think Davis probably knocks him out eventually. Even though Haney is pretty slick with that shoulder roll, he can definitely be hit, and he’s not a very good inside fighter.
For 9 rounds, Haney looked like #1 or 2 of the bunch. All that changed just 3 rounds later. The secrets out. No recovery at all. You swarm in there, take his little mosquito bite punches and land your own.
