Not surprised. Tank is a dude that was with names like Lopez, Loma,Haney etc etc.and never fought any of them.

As talented as he is, he is so protected.

 

Or he's not really as talented as people think... Or rather, maybe he thinks/knows he isn't really that level, or his team does.

Maybe he's protected for a reason.


It's easy to look good when you pick on mediocre opponents all the time - Tank's got some decent skills, but can he hang it and make good use of them against real opponents? We don't know.


People who push hype narratives are enablers for guys like this, IMHO.

 

He's pretty talented, even If I hate him I cannot deny that. I don't let my personal feelings get in my objectivity.

Loma requested the fight for like SEVEN YEARS...I hope Loma never fights Tank. That ducking *****

 

Its NOT complicated. Tank hasnt fought 1 single active 135lb champ. He somehow missed ALL of Teo, Devin, Shakur, and Loma for 7 years...there's rumors that Tank wanted to fight Loma this fall, but I'd bet its more conjecture given how Tank has publicly DUCKED/AVOIDED Loma for 6-7 Y E A R S.

Tank always finds a way to fight 130lb champs or rationalizes 135lb journeymen. Tank arguably LOST or shouldve hada DRAW against bruiser Pitbull...and Tank couldn't even clear the air there and win a clear rematch.

Dude is pitiful. The lone time he stepped up, against fragile ass RyGa, he needed a catchweight AND rehydration clause.

He looks talented... But he's avoided the top level guys.

I'm sick of guys getting credit for things they've refused to prove.

I used to be on board with this kind of thinking but at this point it's logically irrelevant and stupid Loma is only getting older and his chances of winning decrease day by day, either he fights Tank or eventually loses to Shakur because Shakur > Haney. it's one or the other

 

Quick reminder that Lomachenko, Shakur and Zepeda all ducked.

 

Loma has never been a coward or a duck, though - if he was, he wouldn't even be in this division where he's the smaller man in almost all of his fights.

Truth is, it's far more likely that Tank is still too scared to take the risk - he might be pretending he's ready, but that doesn't mean he isn't making sure the fight doesn't happen.

That's not what happened, they were in the middle of negotiations after Loma sonned Kambosos and then Loma just up and left the conversation to take off the rest of the year. Loma said it

You left Garcia off that list because he got stopped. Loma was offered the fight but he don't want smoke with prime Tank only the green version.

 

It's the easy money, nothing more. If these guys had to fight the best to get the huge pay days, then they would. Why work harder for less? Why work harder for the same pay? If I can make the same money that I do now, with half the responsibility and headache and can walk to work, I'd be a fool to pass
