He will beat Cruz badly in the rematch the fight was only close because he hurt his hand. Did you see the fight up until that point???
Tank can punch he stopped barrios at 140 who thurman couldn't stop at 147.

Rolly Polly is trash and gave Davis fits for multiple rounds with a basic and predictable jab and enough stank on one punch to actually hurt Tank. Good luck dealing with guys who are infinitely better in one or all of those categories.

I don’t know man, you seem to think Tank is a lot more intelligent than he is. I think he just didn’t like being punched so he wanted to get away from making it a fight. It’s a real stretch to think that Tank just avoided fighting for six rounds because he knew that Rolly would get desperate and open himself up.

It's true though. Even Mr Smoke & Mirrors himself Broner whose best win is either a SD against Paulie or DeMarco and has received more gifts from the home judges than the baby Jesus has a better resume than him and he fought a few legit guys albeit he lost to almost all of them.

Notice how he also looked electric when he was beating up on leprechauns he was naturally bigger and heavier than down at 135 but didn't look anywhere near as impressive when he moved up and started facing world class guys his own size.? This is a very common theme with many fighters these days. That's why I give Floyd, Manny and Loma way more credit for what they do/did.

That's why I say it's a completely different ballgame when you're facing world class opponents your own size, let alone ones bigger, way bigger and punchers your own size, bigger or way bigger and once again, for the billionth time, Serge has been proven 100% correct. The KOs or early KOs start drying up and you start finding yourself in life and death struggles or you get beat or need your home judges to bail you out after getting beat when you're not leprechaun bashing.

Olu, while it certainly was not a lucky punch, it seems as if you are trying to say that Davis plan was to lure him in and that he was just waiting for the perfect moment to nail Romero. That isn't true. He just threw a punch that happened to catch Romero perfectly but Davis had no idea that was going to be the moment it happened.

I thought this fight would be action-packed and I was definitely wrong. They were both struggling to find a comfortable way to fight their opponent. Romero was somewhat aggressive early but became a bit more tentative as time went on. Davis was never really comfortable and was fighting at his cautious best throughout

The fact is that Tank is not a fighter who worries about winning rounds because he has faith in his power. Someday that will bite him in the butt when he doesn't nail the guy or his opponent can take the power. However, that night wasn't tonight so all props to Davis.

Tank is a devastating puncher. Love to see the Loma fight next.

There you go again. I am not a Jermell Charlo fan boy but I had to admit that we should all congratulate him for his achievements and love them or hate them the Charlo’s are to be respected. Tank and EJ are my guys I have never hid that or that I am a PBC guy but I call it like I see. Remember I picked Fury to beat Wilder when many thought I was mad and I even predicted the manner the stoppage would happen in the 2nd fight. When you picked Rolly at the start I called you on it to see if you were serious because he had no chance. I knew Tank would you use his superior speed, movement and skills before putting his lights out. Another highlight reel knockout.

No it is not that. Setting something up means that you create it (with jabs, feints, tempo, range control etc.). What Tank did was avoid and wait hoping to capitalize on a mistake that may or may not come. That’s 0 iq boxing on display. Waiting is not the same as setting something up.

But was he? Cruz won 3 conservatively, 4 if you're being liberal, of the first 6 rounds. Pac won 4 of the first 6, then faded down the stretch when his shoulder started hurting him.

Not liking being punched is an advantage in a quality not a weakness. Roberto Duran did not liked being punched either.

Rolly was more disciplined and effective than expected. I'll give him credit for coming in with a solid game plan, and for talking over 18000 people into the building. The one hitter quitter will look nice on Tank's highlight reel and he gets some credit for settling down, figuring Romero out and timing his charge perfectly, and for avoiding a pratfall in what was potentially something of a trap fight for him.

In terms of significance and value, it doesn't do a lot for Tank right now. But he got it out of the way and can hopefully fight better guys going forward.

He's not my man ****head. I detest Romero and have been rooting for him to get KTFO since I laid eyes on him. I'm not being a sore loser. Because I don['t give a ****. Merely pointing out the reason why I said Rolly had a chance. That Tank is an overrated hack, who relies on his power to bail him out, with a weak chin, and that as bad as Romero is, he'll still overperform. Now tell me... am I wrong?
