Olu...you have to cut this out a little. ESjr is NOT a draw. He brings nothing to a Canelo fight that he hasn't already done. No way does Canelo - ESjr do a million. Well...everyone wants the canelo sweepstakes. And will probably take non-risky fights until then. All these guys at 30yo with their paper thin resume should be ashamed of how much they wasted in their careers waiting for the big money fight, instead of forging their own legacies.

 

I think you are being a bit too hash really. I think EJ has a solid resume and the only person he has not fought yet is Bud which is next. Thurman avoided EJ like the plague. I think EJ and Canelo has a genuine chance of doing close to a million PPV buys because you have the right ingredients. Spence regularly pulls in 300-350K PPV buys and Canelo must be good for circa 600-700K PPV buys. Their following is diverse so not to much crossover. Spence takes risky fights. He is only waiting at 147 pounds for Bud then he moves up.

 

Maybe a little harsh. I just feel he spent MUCH too long at 147 if he wasn't getting fights he wanted. Not that PBC was going to give him them. They wanted to freeze out TC for too long.
