Man, this is a good fight and should be exciting to watch but the hype is over the top. Neither guy is a major belt holder and neither has fought too lightweights. Tank hasn’t fought a competent guy his own weight in a long time and has never faced a top LW. Ryan has a good win over Campbell, a guy who is better than anyone Tank has fought, but still not a top LW.

Tank seems scared to face a full strength Garcia. If he’s so bad and one denebtional, why did Davis insist on the dehydration clause? This is the first time Tank has fought a real puncher st his own weight, not a little guy moving up or a bigger less skilled guy.

I’ve heard people say Ryan is less skilled than LSC. LSC? Garcia wouod literally kill tiny LSC. He was a pretty skilled fighter but too small and last his sell by date when Tank fought him. And I don’t recall Tank agreeing to a dehydration clause when he fought the smaller guy. Garcia has poor head movement, not the best defense and he backs straight up so he’s open to a big shot. That’s going to make this an interesting fight because either guy can end it.

I’m going with Garcia because I’m not a fan of Tank. And I think he will give Davis a rematch if he wins. If Tank wins, I could easily see him going back to fighting no hopers and washed up little guys. Either way, it’s a fun fight and should be fan friendly. No way it’s the fight of the decade or even the year. They both have good fan followings but neither is the best at 135 at this stage.

Thanks will watch later as well but I can give you my prediction which is Tank will win by spectacularly knocking out Garcia. Garcia has a choice, he can go out face down or on his back but early or late he is going down and out.

The fight was competitive but one could clearly see that Gervonta had a composure about that was better than Ryans. This combined with an edge in terms of ring generalship and tactics was too much for Ryan. The rehydration clause still bothers me a little but I'd love to see this fight again a few years down the line when Ryan has matured a bit more as an experienced boxer.

What’s interesting is that boxing is in such shambles at this time that this fight somehow seems like a big deal. It just goes to show the appeal boxing still has and really makes me miss the huge PPv events of the past that were not only fights but major events. I pray we can get back to those days and hopefully this might do the trick. If it did big numbers it might motivate the top guys to start stepping up more and stop with that Floyd BS of marinating etc etc
