Gervonta Davis vs. Yuriorkis Gamboa, British TV???

Davis has missed weight. A great fighter IMO but seems to have serious discipline issues.

 

I rate Tank but he is a bit of a disgrace. He will be another wasted talent.

 

I got my most recent ban for asking exactly the same question about a Russian card 2 weeks ago.

Was deemed as hinting about signal theft even though I never have asked or had problems obtaining signals.

 

It seems he got the weight off?? 1.2 pounds in an hour or something.

 

It is on Showtime

But it does not appear on U.K. TV

For all the flack Floyd used to get, he was as professional as they come when it came to basics like weight

And thats the shocking thing!... Its a very basic requirement and Davies has now i believe for the 3rd time missed it for an important fight

Lucky he was granted 2 hours instead of the the announced 1

 

I have been banned once on here exactly the same thing. I never asked for an illegal stream or anything like that just asked what channel a certain fight was on and got banned. I couldn't believe it.

I do understand the hard line on requesting streams etc but a question asking what TV channel a fight is on is really being taken the wrong way by the MODs as the question is innocent with many people having no idea when fights are on TV at times due to the plethora of channels.

Sometimes we come on here and see a RBR with that being the first time we are aware that day the fight is on. That happened with the recent Chudinov fight and I was actually given the official youtube link for the fight by a MOD on the RBR in response to the TV channel question.

Shocked when the ban came an hour later.

 

What happened to the PBC ITV deal? Lasted about 5 mins.

What the heck happened.

 

From what I heard ITV only feel they have one slot for a PPV provider and we’re underwhelmed by the PBC numbers for both the UK and US cards so pulled the plug and signed a deal with AEW wrestling instead.

Oh yes that makes sense.

 

At this stage PBC should cut ties with ITV totally and go with Amazon who at least would do the rights justice in the UK. Strange times ahead for broadcasting boxing in 2020 I expect.

 

The weird thing is PBC don’t seem to care about overseas or UK rights and only seem to focus on the US. Unless it’s a big card for Sky to buy it seems they stay unsold and don’t lol out the box with providers like Amazon.

I think this is where DAZN Will corner the boxing market as they are paying big money but buying the rights to 10 or so territories which usually go unsold or are an effort to sell. As they enter more markets they can spread the cost further yet still probably buy the content cheaper than if they were buying it for one territory.
