Gervonta is a coward... he wants to fight at a catch weight that only favors him when he already fought at 140 pounds... he wants a rehydration clause limiting Ryan to only 10 pounds while he gains the pounds he wants ... he trusts him so much that basically there is a rematch clause only if he loses... but how can he not be a coward if he basically hit a woman in a basketball game and found himself guilty of hit and run... a person with those characteristics is a great coward... he was afraid of ryan garcia the little tik toker... the deconstructed man... and he didn't want to get into the ring without first having absolutely everything in his favor

He's just doing what many believe should be the norm. Limiting weight gain after weigh in. You know that has been a topic on this site for some time now and I posted that if a fighter knows guys gain 15-20 pounds and except the fight, then that's on them and that they should request a rehydration clause. Tank is being smart, not a coward. Why let the opponent just walk in 20 pounds heavier than you.

Gervonta rehydrates more than 15 pounds on the day of the fight... he doesn't mind weighing more than his rivals on the day of the fight he was heavier than his rivals in all his fights while he brought those little leprechauns of lower weights... He is a coward because he limits Ryan to rehydrating 10 pounds while he rehydrates as many pounds as he wants... and his is a coward because he who wants to fight fights without putting advantages... Tank will rise much more daring than Garcia on the day of the fight but how would it be a surprise that is basically the same guy who ran over a person and ran... "coward"

Can you verify any of your claims that tank asked for a one way rehydration clause? Sounds like bs to me

Didn’t these sanctioning bodies put rules in place, changed it from the fight night to day before etc to allow fighter’s to rehydrate and not risk brain damage and death? But a fighter can just put on any clause they want willy nilly to reverse that? Lol.

Fighter’s are crazy and will do just about anything, everyone knows that. Why we also have ref’s and corner’s that can call a fight before a guy gets himself killed.

If you are bringing a guy down 4lb’s already, I think the least that can be done is not compound a rehydration clause on top of that.

    https://www.*******.com/ryan-garcia...-clause-contract-gervonta-davis-fight--172971

"Garcia informed *******.com afterward that he cannot weigh more than 146 pounds, 10 more than their contracted catch weight of 136, when he enters the ring for his 12-round fight versus Davis the night of April 22 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas".

    Yeah, Tank a little puss

This isn't the 1st time there has been a rehydration clause. It has happened. As far as the rules go, the same day weigh was employeed for the fighters safety, you are correct. But, to some peoples point, fighters use that extra time to gain huge amounts of weight to get an advantage. I am of the opinion, that if a guy makes weight legally, then so be it.

You talk like a man with a hole in his head. Garcia asked for the fight and Tank fights at 135, regardless of the fact that he fought at 140. He gave that title up because he is more comfortable at 135. Garcia can't make 135 so they settled on a catch weight. Not Tanks fault and before you start that yak, Tank don't owe Garcia nothing. If he wants the fight then that's what it is. He already has the height, reach and just as much power. Plus he is a decent boxer. Tank ain't gonna let him outweigh him by eight of nine lbs on top of that. That's stupid. Stop whining and let the fight happen. You scared for Garcia but he actually has a good shot at winning the fight if his heart don't cave in.
