Maybe at the 5th spot, but definitely not above these guys(not in order): Walters Rigondeaux Russell Jr. Linares Pedraza is legit and they both beat him, but thats about all Tank has. Cuellar was a nice scalp. It's been over 2 years since Tank beat Pedraza... He has stagnated. They tried to get Mares in there, someone who has no business of going north of 126.
Pedrazas a really good fighter, but theres no depth on that resume. Crolla is probably the 7th or 8th best guy Loma's beat and would be the second best win for Tank. He's got time, but Badbot is right in that his matchmaking has gone stale since then.
Gary Russell jr is a legit huge win for Loma. I dont think anyone wants to fight Gary at 126lb, no Leo, no Frampton, no Warrington.
Weight drained Pedraza who'd already decided he was going to relinquish his title and move up to 135 win or lose that fight because his body had outgrown the division Timestamped This content is protected Not to mention Pedraza fought like a complete moron with a capital M against Twink, completely abandoning his considerable boxing skills in favour of wading forward face first into Twink's bombs all night which was about as dumb as it gets. Pedraza actually has got beautiful skills when he wants to use them. In fact, he's more skilled than anyone Crawford has fought. And let's not forget that Twink had 2 healthy arms when he fought Pedraza and he actually weighs about a weight class heavier than Loma does even though he campaigns at 130 and Loma is up at 135. IIRC, by the time Gassiev was Twink's age he had wins over Dorticos, Lebedev and Wlod who were or are all world champions at the same weight as him (CW) and Gassiev only had like 30 amateur fights whereas Twink had 221.
