We would love to but it’s doubtful we see either.

it is more likely to see Lopez vs Taylor.

those are Arum guys. You know the rules.

all we have is our speculations in this great business of boxing.

    Not true,
Loma is a Top fighter & he is not the Best in his division.

    Teofimo Lopez is.

Mikey García is another Top Fighter
    Manny Paquiao, Terrance Crawford,
    Earl Spence
    Etc…

There can be more then one Top “Special” Fighter
Why can’t you guys understand that concept?

    your theory has been Debunked!:bump

You've actually debunked yourself there tbh.

All those you listed either are or have been the best in the world in a division they fought in.

Davis has never been the best, because he doesn't fight the people ranked at the top of his division.

    fair enough,
he is still 26 not 36
Plenty of time for legacy fights
Mayweather promotions will not give us the fights we want until Loma is faded & others have faded.
    You Know the blue print.

Why do you think these fighters relish their 0? Once a top prospect has a tough fight or a loss, the fans drop them like a bad habit. Call them hype jobs, overrated etc. The fans are the ones placing such high stock on a fighters 0.

    Meh, he's pretty ordinary.

    Nothing overly special.

Hadn't Barrios won 9 of his last 10 by KO?

26, in the prime of his life and he's yet to fight a number 1 in any division.

Not how I'd define a special talent tbh.

I seemed to have misjudged Davis, I never thought he was all that but I know what I saw last night. He's more than just a guy with a punch. He was patient , studied his opponent ,had a solid defense, then moved in and dismantled a good larger fighter. His ability to nullify Barrios jab and move inside was impressive.

    because we may never know.
(Best light weight & jr welter fights on ESPN)

ironically Tank is in the same boat that Bud Crawford is in.

Tank chose Barrios not his Promoter. Leonard Ellerbe said he did not want Tank to move up to 140 to face Barrios but Tank insisted. So he clearly has a say.
