Gervonta "Tank" Davis vs Mario Barrios

Barrios is whack.

 

This is an obvious cherry pick especially since Barrios was a SFW not too long ago. I’m hoping Barrios win and put a stop to this weak matchmaking of Gervonta Davis.

Barrios has a poor defense and is the weakest champ in this range so i see why he is a option

 

Not a cherry-pick but like Fielding because Barrios ain't a bum but rather a calculated risk like Kovalev... I think Tank took this fight because he knows Barrios will come forward and yield ample opportunities to set up the equalizer, which is so murderous at 130 that it'll likely be sufficient at 140. Also we forget that he struggles to make 130 & even 135... Too muscular, too little discipline.

Barrios will land some good shots but Davis' tank-like frame will absorb it... Davis KO5 and I think he stays and tries to make the Garcia fight at 140.

 

I hope this results in Pacquiao-Gayvis so we can see Pacquiao ride off into the sunset with a KO win.

Gayvis was 146.6 pounds in his fight against Gamboa, so just 1-3 pounds "smaller" than Pacquiao on fight night.

 

It’s a fun thought but there is zero chance Twink Davis ever gets near a ring with someone like Manny in it. I don’t care if Manny is 50, Twink will run away from the fight like a little girl.

It’s fun to see his fans make excuses for him and try to justify this as a bold move. He’s fighting a no hoper, nobody at 140 because he’s afraid it the guys at his actual fighting weight. Tank is a gutless coward who will do anything to avoid a real opponent. This fight is another in a line of cowardly moves by Tank. I do t care if this guy is bigger, he’s a nobody with no talent. Tank Will KO him easily and his fans will start speculating about bigger names at 140. More guys tank will never face in the ring. His fans are officially the biggest chumps in boxing. Congrats.

 

Anyone with they head screwed on can see the cherry in this blossom.so if tank beats him he will be a 3weight world champion without beating an active champion at 140? Baby belts don't count btw.

Im a huge tank fan but the WBA boy what an organization it is. They have him now as the "super" champ at 130lbs, the "regular" champ at 135lbs n now if he were to win this be the 140lbs "regular" champ simultaneously. The 130lbs belt is considered the "super" title (disputed sometimes) but none the less he did almost knock santa cruz head off his shoulders so ill give him that 1 but if he wins against barrios the 135/140lbs WBA "regular" belts arent really world titles but he will be considered a simultaneous 3 division champion (which if it has happened it wasnt in the last few decades) so the marketing is great for him with that but they r "regular titles" and he should be fighting for legitimate world titles
