Gervonta vs Little Vasyl

Davis needs more polish. He's a titlist, but I don't think he's ready right now.

 

He won't fight Loma for years to come. He will duck him.

He's a Floyd Mayweather fighter. Little Floyd made a career out of never fighting an elite fighter in their prime. What makes you think he'll let Davis do it?

 

People harp on about Lomo's amateur career, and after 3 years Lomo only has 8 fights with 1 loss, an average of two fights per year since turning pro.
Davis has over 200 amateur fights and has taken the old school route of working his way up in the pro ranks.

Davis fought 6 fights in 2013, 3 fights in 2014, 5 fights in 2015, 2 quality fights in 2016, and took the world title this year.
He is naturally talented by more importantly, he has the extreme advantage of being with Mayweather promotions and being trained by MP trainers and coaches, the best in the world.
Over the next year I'll bet that MP will set Davis up with defence opponents who use a lot of footwork, movement and angles to prepare Davis for his eventual match-up with Lomanchenko.
When they finally meet, if TR & Lomo don't duck, I expect Davis will KO Lomo and become the Real P4P candidate, without all the hype.

Gervonta would be ready if he faces Lomachenko last of the titlists and gets a mandatory out of the way. He doesn't need any more experience than that, especially with Vargas, Miura and Salido ready to give him that work.

 

I don't have a dog in this fight. I'm not a huge Loma fan. I respect his abilities as a pro fighter. And his willingness to fight anybody, anywhere, anytime. But if you know me I'm more entertained by pressure fighters and punchers. Just personal preference. If anything Davis has a style that I actually enjoy more.

All I'm doing is saying Mayweather won't let Loma come within 3 miles of Davis.

i wonder if they could build it I'd expect davis to ko salido, that would be a good match up first, then loma after, davis is alot better than walters in my view, maybe walters vs tank

 

definitely, davis would be a big favorite for me more skillfull more to his game and has proven power at 130

 

Davis isn't ready for Lomachenko.

 

Salido has been in too many wars, the last being last year FOTY. I don't know how many more wars are in him. He really deserves to make some good money for a LOMO rematch, but cheap Arum ain't having it.
