Vasquez is a grossly underestimated fighter, his footwork and spoiling abilities would be a nightmare for anyone at that weight and his only losses were to a bigger Canelo and P4P Timmeh years ago. Vasquez would be a tough test for Broner, more than Abril

 

I was cheering for Giesta, but after the fight I felt like nothing happened. It was like watching a cricket match.

Gesta spent more time posing in front of Vazquez than trying to punch him. No sense of urgency, no body attack, no jab, no cutting off the ring. What does this guy do in the gym? Vazquez is also SO boring, but it works for him, so whatever.

 

terrible fight to watch. Sucks that it was on a ppv of that mangnitude.
