US & UK can't afford the big boys.

The only reason Fury Uysk was considered is because there is a chance Usyk will get stripped by any of the belt mafia he is subject to.

I expect the Fury Usyk saga will be swept under the rug rather quickly....but not sure what they are going to do in this down period.

Fury & Warren playing games though knowing once the Saudi deal didn't come through that was it...

Question is who will secure the Saudi money in Winter?

Fury AJ?
Fury Usyk?
Fury Wilder 4?

Usyk must be worried he is going to get stiffed here.

I just can't wrap my head around the fact that the biggest HW fight in decades cannot be made, even though Usyk has agreed to a crappy 70/30 split, and to have the fight in Furys backyard.

 

Doesn't surprise me. I have been telling everyone that Fury was rattled since the night of "Usyk can suck my balls." You could see in his eyes and hear in his voice that Fury wanted none of it. Uysk had successfully trolled Fury exactly as he had done to everyone else.

It was Usyk who "won in the sauna" that night.

I can't believe greedy Fury turn down Saudi's deal, He will not get anything better anywhere else.


As Hearn said Usyk got paid more than Fury in his last fight against AJ.

 

Quite easy to understand... Only one fighter wanted to fight.... And the other one is an inconsistent narcisist that pretended to want the fight but deep down knows he will lose and avoided it....

The reason it couldn't get made - according to Frank Warren - is that all terms were agreed, then USKY demanded Fury accept 30:70 in the rematch if he won, Fury wanted 50:50 if USKY won

 

Rematch split in UK is different from the same in Saudi Arabia, so 70:30 in UK is not the same in Saudi for the winner, if a second fight was about to be there.

 

Yeah... That is what Frank says... Frank also said Fury is in camp....

 

And I do believe Frank is trying to save face... But not his fault... His client has been impossible and he can't exactly throw his client under the bus....

 

The organisations SHOULD stip Fury of his belt though, and Usyk too if he doesn't fight a mandatory immediately. These losers are shitting up the sport. If you're not going to fight twice a year minimum you don't get to be champion or number 1 contender. It's long past time for the organisations to wrestle control back from these charlatans.

Usyks getting a free pass at the moment but if he goes into hiding until the autumn he's as bad as the rest of them.

 

I think they don't want Usyk to win the undisputed heavyweight championship, maybe because of political reasons.

 

As far as I'm concerned Uysk is the heavyweight champion of the world and Fury's legacy is forever tarnished. He is nothing more than a mouthbreather that beat an old Klitschko and only fought guys if it was a favorable matchup while Uysk has made a career of fighting and beating multiple world champions over two divisions.

 

Indeed. The trouble with basing positions on what Warren says, is he has a bad habit of lying constantly. And it's not like how all promoters or politicians will bend the truth and lie by omission. In his case, he is constantly inserting insignificant lies that he doesn't even need to mention most of the time in the context of an interviewer's question.

I've also noticed when he gets caught out publicly, he waits a month or two. Then starts back up with the original lie.

It's really weird. It's almost like he can't help himself.
