Floyd finally fighting a young southpaw with power.
Ortiz is gonna **** him. Floyd will struggle here, never tested vs a prime A level opponent, old and ring rust will be there because it is not a old opponent but a well condtioned one who will throw 40-60 punches per round. pace will slay Inactive Floyd.
If ortiz puts it on him early his corner is not prepared to do anything.
Disaster waiting to happen. If not the pressure from Pac, money would be fighting PSpad.
    truff.

Victor does best with those who want to go toe to toe with him. He struggles with those that don't. The only boxer that Victor out boxed was an old Nate Campbell. Victor was out boxed by Peterson. Mayweather, will never let Victor into this fight. I see Mayweather vs De Lehoya all over again.

It seems that after the Berto fight, everybody is putting ortiz in a higher pedestal.
Remember he couldn't even squeak a win against peterson..... What the **** do tiu think Floyd is gonna do with him?

There was a point in time on the message boards when people were making tons of threads asking the question. When was the last time Mayweather if ever fought a young big strong natural WW in his prime. This was when they were talking about him fighting smaller guys like Hatton and Marquez and an older Hoya. That he ducked big strong young guys like Cotto, Margarito and Mosley.

Haters contradict themselves as much as Mayweather and Pac do themselves.

Ortiz ain't too green. The pace will shock Mayweather. He is used to being able to pick up the pace on his own while his older or smaller opponents fade. This won't be the case w/ ortiz who starts off as quick as any fighter out there. Ortiz upped his punch output to over 50 punches a round in his first WW bout with one of the best athletes in the sport, Berto.

Floyd was technically KD by a right hook from a smaller Judah 2006 and Ortiz has a much longer and powerful right hook not to mention Floyd is older now and very complacent while being inactive. Not facing a southpaw in half a decade and being inactive for over 16 months coming back to face a younger improving puncher of abundance from the southpaw stance is a challenge.

I don't think his corner is ready to deal with what is ahead and I don't think Floyd has the power or aggression needed to deter Ortiz. Floyd has not faced a Welter with a WW win 12 months prior to a fight with him in over 5 years ( or ever).

Mosley was able to rock Floyd and Ortiz throws enough power shots that he will do the same and do it without tiring like the inactive Shane who seemed gassed straight away.

Although Peterson was able to get the best of Ortiz what people fail to realize is that Peterson threw at an uptempo pace as did Maidana and Berto. The pace is the difference here and Ortiz will benefit.

Finally I like that Ortiz uses range laterally with punches and can throw upstairs with his left and to the body with his hook, the combo that gave Floyd trouble last time out was the jab to the body and right to the head by Shane. Unfortunately for Shane he was too punched out to continue those tactics after the 2nd round.
Ortiz is at his highest level of confidence, perfect timing and in this sport that is everything. This is no bull**** cakewalk by any means. Full respect if Floyd smokes Ortiz but I don't see it like that.

This would look like Hopkins vs Pascal. And Hopkins (and not the fighter he used to be)he is even older than Floyd.

Ortiz has been TKO by Maidana and struggle with other fighter. Ortiz is not good, it does not matter if he is green or not, as I told he is not good.

False, Ortiz has not establish himself as a good welterweight. How many fights does Ortiz got at ww? Who did he beat? Berto? He did not even beat Berto(hype) in impressive fashion at times he struggled with Berto.

You could even tell that Ortiz is even worse than before cause of the punishment he had taken from Berto.
