    :think

I hope your right... He's basically ignorant enough that he could do it. I just don't if he's all there mentally. I guess I'll just have to wait for the result on the internet. :smoke

He's not green, he's just not that good skillwise. 147 is a pretty much a desert for a while now, but there's a mirage of a lush oasis that's being blocked off by 2 losers dick waving.

The surrounding weight classes have some good talent. Upwards theres Cotto, south there's Khan, Bradley.

Ortiz is simply miles below Mayweather in the skill department.

    THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT.

I kept on saying that Berto is leagues below Pac as well and thinking he is a solid threat to Pac is stupid (and I had much fun after Ortiz beat him, btw) so I'm being consistent that Ortiz beating him is **** and in no way should mean that he would be competitive against May.

I have no idea why these joyboys would like to make a prizefighter out of Ortiz when clearly all he has is a puncher's chance.
I kept on saying this, this is no different from the Pac - Margarito fight in that the discrepancy in skills is so huge that the other fighter is reduced to having a puncher's chance only.

EDIT: Come to think of it, this is more like the Pac-Diaz fight. Legit, but clearly not the best option out there.

Im glad you asked, one has sparred with the kid multiple times, the other oversaw the sparring, and have far more experience both directly and generally evaluating fighters than you do. You are welcomed to dismiss thier opinions, but in this instance I'll defer to the experts.

ortiz just become relevant by way of his defeat of berto but prior to that he quit against maidana that brought him in the brink of retirement. he beat berto but who is berto? the only thing that ortiz can offer is his just being YOUNG and maybe being big.

i give ortiz no chance to defeat floyd.

Ortiz is by no means too green, I just don't think he's done enough at welterweight to be worthy of a shot.

Then again, at least he's an improving fighter on the way up. Stylistically Ortiz is going to have a nightmare, but I think more of this fight than Pac/JMM.

whatever reason, its a mismatch....everyone knows it....

you have to bet 6.50 cent to make 1 dollar

    vitali - adamek is a mismatch...its 7-1 right now

    pac-marquez is 8-1
