You know its a mismatch when Floyd isnt talking **** about his opponent.

He only does that when he doesnt feel threatened by the guy hes facing.

Think about what you're saying here. Ortiz is the second best WW out there and is a major title holder in that division. There is only one better WW that Mayweather could've fought. I don't know how you could suggest that Mayweather has no business fighting this guy. These are the type of fights he should be taking.

At the same time many have suggested that he has cherry picked just about all of his opponents even though he has talked **** about just about all of his opponents.

so ortiz is the second best welter IN THEN WORLD cos he won 1 fight at the weight? against a massive hypejob? yeah. keep telling your self that. ring says it so it musy be true.

there was no desire from any fans to see this fight. ortiz is an unproven champion with zero defences of his belt. he has been exposed by a boxer in peterson & exposed by a puncher in maidana.

this fight is a shocking mismatch.

if you can't see it; i don't know what to tell you.

Marg and Cotto aren't in Floyd's league but they would give him a better fight than Victor, and both would probably stop Ortiz. That said, I still think Victor is a legitimate, good opponent for Floyd and have no problem with the choice.

No problem then, I'll let you tell me who's better. Who besided Pacquaio would you rank ahead of Ortiz at WW?

I'm not sure why some people are so ready to dismiss pretty much any fight Mayweather is involved in. Mayweather is 34, hasn't fought in almost a 1 1/2 years and he's coming back to fight a talentd 24 year old champion with power in both hands, and good foot and hand speed. Meanwhile, the number 1 p4p fighter is fighting a 38 year old LW who is coming up 2 divisions and who already got beatdown by Mayweather. The number 2 p4p fighter is fighting some unknown Brit who has fought nobody.

Ortiz has no foot movement and thats why he will lose, it will of course be a 12 round decision but everyone knew that.

Mosley ducked him in the past, and then started begging for a fight, and calling him scared in the media. Floyd didn't hate him, but Mosley had pissed Floyd off. You could see it when they fought. Ever time Mosley tried to touch gloves, Floyd knocked his hand away, and popped him in the mouth in the 8th.

Compare that to Marquez who humbly said I want to fight Floyd because I believe he is the true #1p4p.

ortiz is rated cos of his 1 (ONE) fight at welter. which somehow makes it irrelevent that he got outboxed by peterson (at 140) & shown as having a **** chin & no heart by maidana (at 140). :huh

but yeah...he beat the hypejob who took over at welter when the actual talented guys in the division ****ed off...& there is no way any of the euro champs could be any good cos they aren't on american tv...

so other than the best in the division...& the guys who are proven in the division...ortiz is the best in the division. if that's what you want to believe.

    & it's still a **** fight.

you get a pass for taking "keep busy fights" if you "keep busy".

but hey...if you wanna believe this is the best fight that floyd could have made; you go right ahead. :good

I see you didn't name anyone.

I never said it was the best fight he could have made, but it's one of the best fights he could've made and Ortiz is a bigger threat then the guys that the top 2 p4p fighters are taking on.

ortiz is coming to fight. will he win, probably not. but, it will be interesting. if mosley can hurt floyd at his age, then, ortiz has a chance
