retire... tune-up... mosley... vacation ... tune-up... then hopefully pacquiao.

that's the floyd rythm for the past 2-3 years.
Treat the ortiz fight as a tune-up. Stop exaggerating.

I have seen his fights. He's a good prospect who hasn't lived up to his hype by GBP. He looks good against sacrificial lamb, then again so does Chaves Jr. He is not that good. This will be an easy easy win for Floyd. You saying otherwise?

That's not a new thing that's come up just because Floyd is fighting Ortiz. Many have felt that way for a long time.

People have been thinking it for a while. That's why the WW sucks after Pacquiao and Mayweather, because Ortiz might well be the next best fighter (haven't seen much of Jan Zaveck or Aydin or Brook to be able to tell) just because he barely edged a fighter not many had a ton of respect for to begin with.

so mu****a!! Berto is a solid welter who did drop ortiz twice in his loss. He can still be a champ if he keeps his mental focus. People sit on their asses and call this guy a hype because he has a loss under his belt. mu****as are a trip. I dont think he was a hype with the 0 and i dont think he is one now.

Yeah, pretty much. A win over Ortiz is a nice win over an okay B-level fighter. It's not a special accomplishment.

Its not a cherrypick its an either or. He didn't choose Ortiz, golden boy did. Golden Boy gave him an either or. Either he fights Manny for millions of he fights their risng star Ortiz. Its a win win for them. They dont give a **** about the aging Floyd. Floyd chose Ortiz over Manny. He didn't hand pick him though.

Ortiz is one of my favorite fighters but his defense against right hands is to close his eyes in the last moment

    Firstly what is V Cash.

I'm afraid i'm not deep into these forums as some of you. So that point is irrelevant.

He picked berto to beat ortiz and he was wrong. Live with it.

It's not as simple as being fast, having power and being young to beat Floyd Mayweather.

I'm a Mayweather fan and you can't deny that Ortiz IS green. Ortiz just had his first career big win and first championship. If that's not green then what is?
