[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iha1o5y3HM0&feature=related[/ame] I am pretty sure toney said that not replying to insults is a sign of a coward. Well, where is the reply?
couture is a nice guy and let him off easy with a sub, rampage would literally powerbomb him and gnp his eyes through the back of his head
In a recent interview JT said that Wlad ignoring him was a sign of a coward, yet he didn't bother replying to Rampage, what gives? Maybe he knows what you said to be true
Nah...James recently commented on wanting to fight Rampage. It's not a good look for Rampage if he really wants to stand with James. he should definitely go with the ground game if he doesn't want to get starched on his feet. Rampage has good stand up for MMA but James is on anther level. James has an understanding of MMA but Rampage is on anther level. Either guy needs to be in his world to win. If Rampage tries to accommodate James in a stand up the only result will be James as the winner.
What I dont get with Toney, is that whether Boxing is effective in MMA is debatable anyway, but he doesn't even have the Boxing style excel in MMA. Toney is a mid range counter puncher, problem is, you have to draw someone into mid range to set up a counter, but in MMA, they are more likely to grab you when you do that, and that's without talking about how Toney's never been a particularly big puncher. Rashaad Evans has the right idea, using movement and speed, to catching them coming in.
Rampage would beat Toney in a stand up fight, mostly because he could use his height and leg kicks to nullify the boxing defense Toney has. It wouldn't be a hard fight for a good kick boxer, because Toney's strategy is all about slipping punches - not so easy to slip leg kicks.
If Rampage is saying he will standup with TOney then fight in a Boxing ring, with boxing rules. :deal It will keep all parties honest.
Toney has responded and called him out many times. Toney may not be any good at MMA, but he ain't scared of much.
