Until the Wlad v.s. Arreola fight happens, we are doomed for ANOTHER awful, boring HW fight. So sad.

At least Arreola will risk getting KO'd by actually pressuring Wlad and making him fight. Can't wait for that one as long as Christobal gets in better shape. :good

i don't see arreola being exciting for more than 2.5, maybe 3 minutes. After eating a shitload of jabs, that pressure will end real quick and he'll try to last just to save face. that's it

Arreola/Wlad would be more exciting, though I do think Wlad will knock him out around the 5th. Wlad will find many openings in Arreola's guard quite easily, and will probably be the one to expose Arreola's weak chin, that I know he has.

Klitschko can knock Arreola out as soon as he wants in that fight. Arreola has a questionable chin as we've seen, coupled with questionable fitness.

It is purely a matter of how fast Klitschko gets down to business, given his slow-starting method.

I agree, Arreola's chin is glass and is just waiting to get shattered. As you said, depending on Wlad's mood that night, will pretty much determine how long he will stand upright.

I disagree. While Arreola's chin may be suspect, we know Wlad's definitley is. My main point is that Arreola is the only HW I can see being somewhat aggressive and actually taking the fight to Wlad. If he gets KO'd, so be it. At least he won't sit back and get jabbed to death without throwing a punch like every other HW that fight Wlad. :-(

You can bet your house that Arreola would eat dozens of jabs every round, since he simply isn't fast nor elusive enough to avoid it. His own jab isn't nearly quick enough to trouble Wlad, these kind of punches work on gatekeeper, nothing more. Chagaev has way quicker hands, his only problem will be his incredible shortness.

And btw, what about Peter ? Is there already a "missing" pic of him on milk packs ?

I never said Arreola wouldn't attempt to take the fight to Wlad, I just dont see him being successful at it. You need to have somewhat of a chin to give Wlad trouble, Arreola does not have one. If Arreola did have a chin like Brewster or Peter, then Wlad would possibly be in trouble. ****, if Haye had a good chin I would favor him over Wlad.

I agree that Chag is deceptively quick and has better skills than 90% of the HW's out there but... you are right, he's giving up like a foot! Wlad's significant height advantage is such a huge reason for his success.

    Snoozefest? :huh

As if all of Wlad's fights are like the Iggy domination. He knocked out Byrd, Austin, Brock, Thompson & Rahman but you chose his UD of Sultan to compare this fight to?

Arreola doesn't stand a serious chance against Wladimir anyway, in shape or not he'd be KTFO.

Every consider the possiblity that these other fighters make an attempt to pressure him,and get inside............but the jab keeps them from being able to do so?

Just cuase them don't pressure him don't mean they aren't trying......its that they are just not effective at it, with that jab causing them to lose all their best laid plans.

You might want to consider that......:good
