Get ready for Sept 13th Dueling Cards

Froch-Chavez Jr is FAR more interesting than watching the shoulder roll Queen, unless he grows a pair and fights Pac

 

It's a very interesting topic outside of boxing aswell if you consider how overvalued their ipo's are and what type of impact they truly have on a consumer. I personally think Chavez vs a decent name can do good stadium numbers and ppv internationally. Especially on that date. Floyd will do numbers but I'd love to see what would happen if someone like Chavez went up against him.

 

This is not good for boxing. Froch-JCC Jr should have it's own night to shine as well as PBF-TBA. Anyone who thinks this is good is not a fan of the sport.:deal

 

No it isn't. It's bad for the sport. Both fights need their own night and own spotlight. Putting up Froch-JCC Jr up against PBF-TBA would be a dumb move. Both are likely to be PPV and are big fights.

Two big PPV fights on the same night are never a good deal for the fans.:deal. You just want to see PBF's numbers suffer that's all this is about with you, your hate is so deep you let it cloud rational thinking. I want to see Froch-JCC Jr but it should have it's own night to shine. If you think Arum doing this is somehow going to beat PBF-TBA PPV numbers you'd be wrong. Any real boxing fan would want these fights on two separate weekends to allow both to have their own spotlight and to allow live viewing of both.

 

I'm not so sure thats true. I think the competition would result in bigger marketing by both sides, and more mainstream news coverage.

Competition is actually usually a good thing.

If it was Froch as opponent, Hearn would be making sure the fight also had an undercard.

 

I disagree. If it's not big PPV fights I wouldn't have so much of a problem with it. With that said I really don't like it when just regular fights are on HBO and Showtime on the same night and times. This isn't about competition Arum already puts on **** undercards on his PPVs if he wanted to make his cards better competition making a complete card that would be a start. This is bad for boxing. Froch-JCC Jr deserve their own night. What's next Pac-Provo against PBF-Thurman both on the same night? How is that good for the sport?

 

It has nothing to do with numbers. Pac works for Arum the fight won't happen. Let it go.
