Is there any particular reason why Oliver doesn't work on Sky much anymore?

Apart from the odd interview with him when he is sat ringside at fights, they sometimes have him in the Sky Sports News studio talking about big fights-kind of like what he does on Setanta but he hasn't been an analyst on FFN for years now.

Fearon is too intense, tries to take over, Oliver and Bunce have a better chemistry

He was a hell of a fighter too, his nickname was 'the omen' if memory serves.

spencer oliver is a good bloke, but he does just seem to agree with bunce, wasn't a big fan of steve but i've warmed to him (especailly when thinking of the alternative) and he's miles ahead of any other boxing journo because he's actually a fan and you've gotta love his passion for the sport

i do think its better when bunce has someone alongside him that complaments him, but don't think oliver is the guy, was great when ritchie woodhall was with him on fight nights, the technical knowledge/professional approach of woodhall and bunce who is in touch with the ins and outs of the sport was a terrific combo

get rid of bunce? no way, who else interacts with the fans and takes suggestions like steve, he's brillient for the sport

Agreed. I just can't stand Bunce. I know he takes the time to post on here and he listens to the fans and what not, but Bunce isn't my cup of tea.

Setanta in terms of their presentation are a league behind Sky. I don't / can't watch Bunce's boxing hour.

i think fighters who have had the health issues he had tend to pile weight on not to sure why but Paul Ingle's the same as well.

Buncey is a legend and done a lot for boxing and brought in new fans and got people loving the sport and feeling part of it again. i hate to see the show changed it's going well in my opinion.

buncey stays, why get rid of a boxing expert with the eccentric wit of someone who knows the game ,and it's players inside out?
he is our one boxing pioneer who will see the sport through this decade,we need him on our side.....and he's pretty funny to watch.

big up the bunce!-who else are you gonna have?
