Bunce is the man. Andy Kerr rocks too, when he was off for a few weeks the show wasnt as good without him. No point having anyone else added to the show, its good enough as it is.
Wow feel the love here!!! What a day what a year it's been on the boxing hour. It's funny you say that the general feeling is that Bunce and myself are seen as a double act by a lot of people now. After the show on Saturday we had a funny conversation when I had to concede I was definitely the Robin to Buncey's Batman!! But now Spencer is thrown into the mix I'm not sure what that makes him!! Definitely love having him on the show though, a good signing.
where do i start,ok....serverances,straightheads,outlaw,human traffic,city rats,all great british flicks.....doghouse out june 9th a must see...the list is endless.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BoK6aDMNOU
I like Spencer Oliver and Andy Kerr is like that guy you know who is just really getting into boxing but still has a bit to learn (I feel a little sorry for him sometimes when bunce winds him up)...and Bunce is the perfect guy to teach him. After boxing film is my great passion...and must say that Danny Dyer is a good actor but most of the films he's been in have been utter shite. Borstal Boys was a good film (Dyer plays a young 'sexually confused' kid!). But Football Factory was a load of 'cockney kneesup bollocks'
I'd tale Danny Dyer a bit more seriously if he didn't make out he was worried about meeting every minor league gangster and football yob he interviews.
If you don't like the show, don't watch it. Go elsewhere for news and insights, BBC 5, Sky or whatever. Maybe then you will appreciate that it is the only show of its kind, it's watchable and entertaining and regularly gets big interviews. Bunce invites the guests and asks the questions, he IS the show essentially - get rid of him and there isn't one. You make out he is just some blabbermouth ruining the show - he structures it, he runs it, it's literally his show - "Steve Bunce's Boxing Hour". You get it for free as well - it's unbelievable how ungrateful and pedantic some people are. Boxing isn't exactly a major sport in the UK, yet it gets as much airtime as football focus. The only thing left to say - if you think you can do better, write to the head of Setanta and convince him you could run a weekly show yourself...if you get the funding, I'll give you generous feedback on your show too. Spencer Oliver is free to do the same.
"Bunce should go" How can you say such a thing? Shocking, just shocking. There seems to be a few on here that enjoy biting the hand that feeds them. Unbelievable!!
